Qualitative

A term used in relation to evaluation, it describes information collected that shows the quality of people’s experience of your project. This may include how much they enjoyed the project, or whether they learned anything from it.

Quantitative

A term used in relation to evaluation, it describes information collected about numbers such as the number of participants, audiences, days etc.

Questionnaire

A tool often used in evaluation, a questionnaire is a list of questions asking for opinions on a given subject. The information collected can then be gathered to look at trends and overall ideas. Questionnaires can be used to gather both quantitative and qualitative information.
