Match funding
Funding that depends on another source. For example: a funder may agree to put money into a project on the condition that a percentage of the cost is funded by another source.
Mentoring
Support or guidance for an individual or group, given by a more experienced individual or group.
Mission statement
A simple sentence that sums up the overall aim of an organisation.

Monitoring
A term used to describe the process of ensuring that the project or organisation stays on track towards meeting its aims and objectives. Some funders will have their own monitoring systems that you must follow as a condition of their funding. Monitoring information is very useful for the evaluation at the end of a project.
