Tile wall panels, Lubna Chowdary, Tesco Extra, Slough, 2008

Colourful tiles designed by artist Lubna Chowdhary cloak the lift shaft of the Tesco Extra side of the walk-way over the A4, and acts as a beacon for people travelling through Slough. The artwork is made of hundreds of hand glazed tiles put together to created a series of links and connections reflecting the business and community links in Slough.
