Janet has been making her own designs and teaching for over 30yrs. She makes qualty pieces you will love forever, mainly in silver. Janet also works in Gold, copper and brass with precious stones. Her work is varied as she is constantly exploring design possibilities and techniques. She makes using traditional methods and also uses Metal clay, knitting and crochet in wire and beading. now she is addign wire wrapping.

Janet has exhibited at Electrum Gallery, Goldsmith's Fair, Chelsea Craft Fair, desire to name a few. She also exhibits locally At Holme Grange Craft Village, Wokingham. She is a member of the Association of Contemporary Jewellers, Berkshire Designer Jeweller, Farnham Maltings Jewellers and Silversiths group and teh Institute For Learning. She was resident at South Hill Park for 6 years, taught at TVU Reading and Mind drop in Centres. She now teaches at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts and Bracknell Lifelong Learning Centre. She also takes her Workshop on Wheels to peoples homes.

Education

She has a degree in 3DD from Sheffield, An Advanced City and Guilds in Precious Jewellery, A Diploma in Precious Metal Clay from MCSJ, and is in her second year of DTTLS (teaching diploma).
